This past weekend I was given the opportunity to travel to the world renown Road Atlanta race track which most auto enthusiast could only dream of seeing in person. I’m not the best with words and expressing how beautiful this track is but the track is very well kept and is surrounded by beautiful trees that make you embrace the long drives or walks from the vendor area to the actual event. I didn’t get to hangout out on the actual course where the drift event was held but I was mainly hanging out on the grid with the drivers and teams covering Tyler Mcquarrie.

The Grid can sometimes be entertaining with the drama that happens behind the scenes but for the most part its drivers getting in the zone and the drivers talking amongst eachother about the track or their last run.

As the drivers wait their turn there is no shortage of amazing burnouts and smoke going into your lungs but its seriously a cool site to see in person and really gets you in the mood.

Social Networking is also big on the grid people are constantly updating their twitters and facebook pages in between runs to update fans and friends on their progression.
